UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
Dep ress the “A/ C” button to turn on and off the
air cond itioning during manu al operation only.
Cool dehu midified air comes throu gh the outlets
selected by the Mod e Control. To turn off the air cond i-
tioning, press the A/ C button a second time. The A/ C
sym bol in the display will turn off.
NOTE: In cold weather, use of the Recircu lation mode
may lead to excessive wind ow fogging. The Recircu lation
mode is not allow ed in the Mix and Defrost modes to
improve wind ow clearing operation. Recircu lation will
be disabled autom atically if these modes are selected .
Auxiliary Rear Autom atic Temperatu re Con trol —
If Equipped
Recircu lation Con trol
When the outsid e air contains smoke, odors,
high hu midity, or if rap id cooling is desired
you may wish to recircu late interior air by
pressing the recircu lation icon button. The re-
circulation mode shou ld only be used tem porarily. The
recircu late sym bol will illuminate in the display when
this button is selected . You may select the recircu lation
mode separately or with the A/ C featu re, if rap id cooling
is desired . Push in on the buttons a second time to turn
the system s off.
The Rear Autom atic Temperatu re Control System has
floor air outlets to the rear of the right side sliding door
and overhead outlets at each outboard rear seating
position. The unit provid es heated air throu gh the floor
outlets or cool, dehu midified air throu gh the head liner
outlets.
The “REAR SYSTEM” knob for the Rear Autom atic
Temperatu re Control System is on the front ATC control
unit located on the instru ment panel.
