Fuel System Hoses
WARN ING!
Electronic Fuel Injection high pressu re fuel system s are
designed with hoses and clamps which have uniqu e
material characteristics to provid e adequ ate sealing and
resist attack by deteriorated gasoline.
Overfillin g the brak e flu id reservoir can resu lt in
spillin g brak e flu id on hot engin e parts and the
brak e flu id catch ing fire.
You are urged to use only the manu factu rers specified
hoses and clamps, or their equ ivalent in material and
specification, in any fuel system servicing. It is mand a-
tory to rep lace all clamps that have been loosened or
rem oved during service. Care shou ld be taken in install-
ing new clamps to insu re they are prop erly torqu ed.
Use only brake fluid that has been in a tightly closed
container to avoid contam ination from foreign matter or
moistu re.
CAUTIO N!
Do not allow petroleu m base flu id to contam inate
the brak e flu id — all brak e seal components could
be damaged causin g partial or complete brak e fail-
ure.
