The pedals cannot be adjusted when the vehicle is in R
(Reverse) or when the Speed Control System is ON.
The follow ing messages will be displayed on vehicles
equ ipped with the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Sys-
tem (EVIC) if the pedals are attem pted to be adjusted
when the system is locked out (“Ad justable Ped al
Disabled — Cru ise Control Engaged ” or “Ad justable
Ped al Disabled — Vehicle In Reverse”).
ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL — IF EQUIPPED
When engaged , this device takes over the accelerator
operation at speed s greater than 30 mph (50 km/ h).

Do not place any article under the adjustab le pedals
or impede its ability to move as it may cause damage
to the pedal controls. Ped al travel may becom e
lim ited if movem ent is stop ped by an obstru ction in
the adjustab le pedal’s path .
