THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

The power sliding door switches will not operate if the
vehicle is in gear or the vehicle speed is above 0 mph
Child Protection Door Lock
To provid e a safer environm ent for small child ren rid ing
in the rear seats, the sliding doors are equ ipped with a
child protection door lock system .

If the power sliding door encou nters multiple obstru c-
tions within the sam e cycle, the system will autom ati-
cally stop and must be opened or closed manu ally.
WARN ING!
To avoid trap ping anyon e in the veh icle in a colli-
sion . Rem ember that the slid ing doors can only be
opened from the outsid e door handle or the switch es
located on the trim panel just in fron t of the power
slid ing door when the child protection lock s are
engaged .
WARN ING!
You or oth ers could be injured if caught in the path
of the slid ing door. Make sure the door path is clear
before closin g the door.
To activate the system , open the sliding door and move
the child lock control, located near the door’s rear latch,
to the ON position.
