WARN ING!
NOTE:    When  program ming  a garage   door  opener,  it is
advised   to park  outsid  e the  garage.  Some  vehicles  may
requ ire the ignition   switch  to be turned   to the second  (or
ЉaccessoriesЉ)   position  for  program  ming  and / or  opera-
tion  of  HomeLink.   It is  also  recom mend ed  that  a  new
battery   be  placed   in  the  hand -held   transm itter   of  the
device   being   program  med   to  HomeLink    for  quicker
training  and  accurate  transm ission of the  rad io-frequ ency
signal.
A movin g garage  door  can cause  injury  to peop le and
pets  in the  path  of  the  door. Peop le  or pets  could  be
seriou sly  or fatally  injured  . Only  use this  tran sceiver
with   a  garage   door   opener   that   has   a  “stop   and
reverse”   featu re  as req uired   by  fed eral  safety  stan -
dard s. This  includes   most   garage  door  opener   mod-
els  manufactu  red   after   1982. Do   not  use  a  garage
door  opener   with  out  these  safety   featu res  it  could

1.  Press and  hold  the  two outer  HomeLink   buttons,  and
release  only when  the ind icator light  begins  to flash (after
20
second s). Do  not  hold  the  buttons  for  longer  than  30
second s and  do not  rep eat step  one to  program  a second
and / or third  hand -held  transm itter  to the rem aining  two
HomeLink   buttons.
