Use the interm ittent wipers when weather cond itions
make a single wiping cycle, with a variable pause be-
tween cycles, desirable.
Sudden loss of visib ility throu gh the windshield
could lead to an accid ent. You migh t not see oth er
veh icles or oth er obstacles. To avoid sudden icin g of
the windshield durin g freezin g weath er, warm the
windshield with defroster before and durin g wind-
shield wash er use.
Rotate the end of the lever to the first detent position, 3
then turn the end of the lever to select the desired delay
interval. The delay can be regu lated from a maxim um of
abou t 20 second s betw een cycles, to a cycle every 2
second s. The time delay will be doubled if the vehicle
speed is less than 10 mph (16 km/ h).
