air will be delivered from both the head liner and floor
outlets. When the rear tem peratu re knob reaches the
full hot position, all of the air will be delivered from
the floor outlets.
CAUTIO N!
Interior air enters the Manual Rear Zon e Clim ate
Con trol system throu gh an intak e grille located in
the passen ger sid e trim panel behind the third seat.
The heater outlets are located in the passen ger sid e
trim panel just behind the slid ing door. Do not
block or place objects directly in fron t of the inlet
grille or heater outlets. The electrical system could
overload causin g damage to the blow er motor.

When the center knob on the front climate control unit
is set to any position other than “REAR”, the rear
tem peratu re selection follow s the setting of the driv-
er’s tem peratu re control on the front climate control
unit. The rear mode selection follow s the setting of the
front mode control.
Rear Temperatu re And Mode Con trol
When the center knob on the front climate control unit is
set to the “REAR” position, the second seat occupants also
have control of the rear temperatu re and modes as follows:
Rear Economy Mode
If rear econom y mode is desired , set the center knob on
the front control unit to the “REAR” position. Turn the
A/ C button OFF and select any mode excep t “MIX” or
“DEFROST”.

The rear tem peratu re knob controls both the rear
tem peratu re and mode. When the tem peratu re knob is
in the cold position, cold air will be delivered from the
head liner outlets. As the rear tem peratu re knob is
The rear tem peratu re knob and the rear blow er speed can
be adjusted as desired by the second seat occupants.
