Improp er alignm ent will not cause vehicle vibration.
Vibration may be a resu lt of tire and wheel out-of-
balance. Prop er balancing will red uce vibration and
avoid tire cupping and spotty wear.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR SYSTEM — IF
EQUIPPED
The Tire Pressu re Monitor System (TPM) system uses
wireless technology with wheel rim mounted electronic
sensors to monitor tire pressu re levels (EXCLUDIN G
THE SPARE TIRE). Sensors, mounted to each wheel as
part of the valve stem , transm it tire pressu re read ings to
a receiver located in the overhead console.

NOTE: The tire pressu re monitoring system on you r
vehicle will warn you when one of you r tires is signifi-
cantly und erinflated and when som e combinations of
you r tires are significantly und erinflated . However, there
are other combinations of significantly und erinflated
tires for which you r tire pressu re monitoring system may
not warn you . These other combinations are relatively
common, accou nting for approxim ately half the instances
in which vehicles have significantly und erinflated tires.
For exam ple, you r system may not warn you when both
tires on the sam e side or on the sam e axle of you r vehicle
All Wheel Drive (AWD) veh icles must have the sam e
size and typ e tires on all wheel position s. Unequal
tire sizes must not be used . Unequal tire size may
cause failu re of the power tran sfer unit and/or the
viscou s couplin g.
