22. Trip Odomet er Button
The odometer show s the total distance the vehicle has
been driven.
Press this button to change the display from odometer to
trip odometer. The word TRIP will appear when in the
trip odometer mode.
U.S. federal regu lations requ ire that upon transfer of
vehicle ownership , the seller certify to the purchaser the
correct mileage that the vehicle has been driven. There-
fore, if the odometer read ing is changed during rep air or
rep lacem ent, be sure to keep a record of the read ing
before and after the service so that the correct mileage can
be determ ined .
Push in and hold the button for two second s to reset the
trip odometer to 0 miles or kilom eters. The odometer
must be in trip mode to reset.

Tire Pressure Monit or Warning Light — If
Equipped
This light will turn on when there is a Low tire
pressu re cond ition. The light will also turn on
if a problem exist with any tire sensor. The light
will rem ain on until the tire pressu re is prop -

This vacu um fluorescent display ind icator show s that the
Speed Control System is ON.
This light will turn on momentarily as a bulb check when
the engine is started .
