Rem ove the fuel tan k filler tube cap (gas cap) slow ly
to preven t fuel spray from the filler neck which may
cause injury.
If seats are rem oved for carrying cargo, do not exceed the
specified GVWR and GAWR.
The volatility of som e gasolin es may cause a build up
of pressu re in the fuel tan k that may increase while
you drive. This pressu re can resu lt in a spray of
gasolin e and/or vap ors when the cap is rem oved
from a hot veh icle. Rem ovin g the cap slow ly allow s
the pressu re to ven t and preven ts fuel spray.
Vehicle Certification Label
Your vehicle has a certification label attached to the 5
driver’s door pillar.

Never have any smoking materials lit in or near the
veh icle when the gas cap is rem oved or the tan k
filled .
The label contains the follow ing inform ation:

Never add fuel to the veh icle when the engin e is
running.
