any door is opened (excluding liftgate) and
the vehicle speed is 0 mph (0 km/ h).
NOTE: If the key is in the ignition switch, then all
buttons on that transm itter will be disabled . The buttons
on the rem aining transm itters will work. If the vehicle is
shifted out of PARK, all the transm itter buttons are
disabled for all keys.
The Auto Unlock featu re can be enabled or disabled by
perform ing the proced ure in the Overhead Console,
Custom er Program mable Featu res section.
Two (2) transm itters may be supplied with the vehicle.
Vehicles built withou t the powered options will be
equ ipped from the factory with three button transm itters
and those built with power options will be equ ipped
with six button transm itters.
NOTE: Use the Auto Door Locks and Auto Unlock
featu res in accord ance with local law s.
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY — IF EQUIPPED
This system allow s you to lock or unlock the doors and
liftgate, and activate the panic alarm , optional power
liftgate, left power sliding door, and right power sliding
door from distances up to abou t 23 feet (7 meters) using
a hand held rad io transm itter. The transm itter need not
be pointed at the vehicle to activate the system .
Three button transm itters will provid e basic UNLOCK,
LOCK and PANIC functions.
