Youmaytemporarily  disablethe
LockSensor
keylesslockingfeaturebypressing
andholdingthepowerdoorunlock
buttonontheinstrument  panelfor
severalsecondswithadooropen.
Keylesslockingwillthenremain
disabled untilthedoorlockswitchis
pressed, oruntilthevehicleis
turnedon.
Ifthevehiclehasthekeyless
accesssystem,thisfeatureallows
youtoselectwhetherthedoors
automatically lockduringnormal
vehicleexit.Whenthevehicleis
turnedoffandalldoorsbecome
closed,thevehiclewilldetermine
howmanykeylessaccess
transmitters remaininthevehicle
interior.Ifatleastonekeyless
accesstransmitter hasbeen
removedfromtheinterior  ofthe
vehicle, thedoorswilllockafter
severalseconds.
Tocustomize whetherthedoors
automatically lockwhenyouexit
thevehicle, see“PassiveLocking”
underVehiclePersonalization  on
page 4‑41.
Whenalldoorsareclosedandthe
ignition isoff,thevehiclecanbe
lockedbypressing  thisareaonthe
doorhandle.Thisfeaturewillbe
available forseveralminutesafter
thevehiclehasbeenturnedoff.
Iftherearetwokeylessaccess
transmitters inthevehicleand
oneisremoved,  theotherwillbe
lockedin.Apersonapproaching   the
outsideofthelockedvehiclewithout
anauthorized keylessaccess
transmitter willnotbeabletoopen
thedoor,evenwiththetransmitter   in
thevehicle.
