cleanaluminum. Acoatingof

recommended forallbrightmetal
parts.
Foreignmaterials suchascalcium
chloride andothersalts,icemelting
agents,roadoilandtar,treesap,
birddroppings, chemicals from
industrial chimneys, etc.,can
damagethevehicle's finishifthey
remainonpaintedsurfaces. Wash
thevehicleassoonaspossible.
Ifnecessary,usenon-abrasive
cleaners thataremarkedsafefor
paintedsurfaces toremoveforeign
matter.
FinishCare
Occasional waxingormildpolishing
ofthevehiclebyhandmaybe
necessary toremoveresiduefrom
thepaintfinish.Approvedcleaning
products canbeobtained fromyour
dealer/retailer.
Ifthevehiclehasabasecoat/
clearcoat paintfinish,theclearcoat
givesmoredepthandglosstothe
coloredbasecoat. Alwaysuse
waxesandpolishesthatare
Exterior paintedsurfaces are
subjecttoaging,weatherand
chemicalfallout thatcantaketheir
tolloveraperiodofyears.Tokeep
thepaintfinishlookingnew,keep
thevehiclegaragedorcovered
wheneverpossible.
