Toreinstall thehitchcover:

Holdthecoverata45degree
angletothevehicleandpush
theuppertabsinthehitchcover
intotheslotsinthefascia.

Itisimportant tohavethecorrect
hitchequipment. Crosswinds, large
trucksgoingbyandroughroadsare
afewreasonswhytherighthitchis
needed.

Movethebottomofthecover
forwarduntilthelowertabsline
upwiththelowerfasciaslots.

Therearbumperonthevehicle
isnotintended forhitches. Do
notattachrentalhitchesorother
bumper-type hitchestoit.Use
onlyaframe-mounted hitchthat
doesnotattachtothebumper.
Snapthehitchcoverintoplace
bypushingtheuppercorners
forward.
4. Turnthefasteners onthelower
tabs90degreesclockwise to
lockthecoverinplace.
Thevehiclemayhaveahitchcover.
Toremovethehitchcover:

Willanyholesbemadeinthe
bodyofthevehiclewhenthe
trailerhitchisinstalled? Ifthere
are,thenbesuretosealthe
holeslaterwhenthehitchis
removed.Iftheholesarenot
sealed,dirt,water,anddeadly
carbonmonoxide (CO)fromthe
exhaustcangetintothevehicle.

Turnthefasteners onthe
lowertabs90degrees
counterclockwise.
Alwaysattachchainsbetweenthe
vehicleandthetrailer.Crossthe
safetychainsunderthetongueof
thetrailertohelppreventthetongue
fromcontacting theroadifit
becomesseparated fromthehitch.
Alwaysleavejustenoughslackso
therigcanturn.Neverallowsafety
chainstodragontheground.

Lifttheloweredgeofthecover
about45degrees.
3. Pullthecoverdownwardto
disengage theupper
attachments.
