SeatsandRestraints
InCanada,thelawrequires   that
forward-facing childrestraints have
atoptether,andthatthetetherbe
attached.
Ifthechildrestraint  doesnothave
theLATCHsystem,youwillbe
usingthesafetybelttosecurethe
childrestraint inthisposition.  Be
suretofollowtheinstructions   that
camewiththechildrestraint.   Secure
thechildinthechildrestraint   when
andastheinstructions  say.

Pushthelatchplateintothe
buckleuntilitclicks.
4. Pulltherestoftheshoulder   belt
allthewayoutoftheretractor    to
setthelock.
Ifmorethanonechildrestraint
needstobeinstalled  intherear
seat,besuretoreadWheretoPut
theRestraint onpage2‑50.
Position thereleasebuttonon
thebucklesothatthesafetybelt
couldbequicklyunbuckled  if
necessary.

Putthechildrestraint  on
theseat.
2.
Pickupthelatchplate,andrun
thelapandshoulder  portions of
thevehicle's safetybeltthrough
oraroundtherestraint.  Thechild
restraint instructions willshow
youhow.
