pretensioners cannotbeseen,they
arepartofthesafetybeltassembly.
Theycanhelptightenthesafety
beltsduringtheearlystagesofa
moderate toseverefrontaland
nearfrontalcrashandwilldeployin
side,rearandrollover eventsifthe
threshold conditions forpretensioner
activation aremet.
Thisvehiclemayhaverearshoulder
beltcomfortguidesfortheoutboard
passenger positions intherearseat.
Ifnot,theyareavailable through
yourdealer/retailer. Theguides
mayprovideaddedsafetybelt
comfortforolderchildren whohave
outgrown boosterseatsandfor
someadults.Wheninstalled ona
shoulder belt,andproperly adjusted,
thecomfortguidepositions thebelt
awayfromtheneckandhead.
1. Removetheguidefromits
storagepocketonthesideof
theseat.
Pretensioners workonlyonce.Ifthe
pretensioners activate inacrash,
theywillneedtobereplaced, and
probably othernewpartsforthe
vehicle's safetybeltsystem.See

Placetheguideoverthebelt,
andinsertthetwoedgesofthe
beltintotheslotsoftheguide.
