tiresandtransmit tirepressure
readings toareceiver locatedinthe

Accordingly,whenthelowtire
pressure telltale illuminates, you
shouldstopandcheckyourtiresas
soonaspossible, andinflatethem
totheproperpressure. Drivingona
significantly under‐inflated tire
causesthetiretooverheatandcan
leadtotirefailure.Under‐inflation
alsoreducesfuelefficiency andtire
treadlife,andmayaffectthe
vehicle's handling andstopping
ability.
