allpartoftheairbagmodule.
Inmoderatetoseverefrontalor
nearfrontalcollisions, evenbelted
occupants cancontactthesteering
wheelortheinstrument panel.In
moderate toseveresidecollisions,
evenbeltedoccupants cancontact
theinsideofthevehicle.
Airbagssupplement theprotection
provided bysafetybelts.Frontal
airbagsdistribute theforceofthe
impactmoreevenlyoverthe
occupant's upperbody,stopping
theoccupantmoregradually.
Seat‐mountedsideimpactand
