Totightenthebelt,pushdown

onthechildrestraint, pullthe

shoulder portionofthebeltto

tightenthelapportionofthebelt

andfeedtheshoulder beltback

intotheretractor.Wheninstalling

aforward-facing childrestraint,

itmaybehelpfultouseyour

kneetopushdownonthechild

restraint asyoutightenthebelt.

Iftheairbagsareoff,theoff

indicator inthepassenger airbag

statusindicator willcomeonand

stayonwhenthevehicleisstarted.
