forward-facing childrestraints have
atoptether,andthatthetetherbe
attached.
3. Pickupthelatchplate,andrun
thelapandshoulder  portions of
thevehicle's safetybeltthrough
oraroundtherestraint.  Thechild
restraint instructions willshow
youhow.
Youwillbeusingthelap-shoulder
belttosecurethechildrestraint   in
thisposition. Followtheinstructions
thatcamewiththechildrestraint.

Movetheseatasfarbackasit
willgobeforesecuring  the
forward-facing childrestraint.
Whenthepassenger  sensing
systemhasturnedofftheright
frontpassenger frontalairbag
andseat‐mountedsideimpact
airbag,theoffindicator  on
thepassenger airbagstatus
indicator shouldlightandstay
litwhenyoustartthevehicle.

5. Pulltherestoftheshoulder   belt
allthewayoutoftheretractor    to
setthelock.
4. Pushthelatchplateintothe
buckleuntilitclicks.
Position thereleasebuttonon
thebuckle,sothatthesafety
beltcouldbequicklyunbuckled
ifnecessary.

theseat.
