Pinch Protect Override
Wind Buffeting
If a know n obstru ction (ice, debris, etc.) prevents closing,
press the switch forw ard and hold for two second s after
the reversal occurs. This allow s the sunroof to move
tow ard s the closed position.
Wind buffeting can be described as the percep tion of
pressu re on the ears or a helicop ter typ e sou nd in the
ears. Your vehicle may exhibit wind buffeting with the
wind ows down, or the sunroof (if equ ipped) in certain
open or partially open positions. This is a norm al occur-
rence and can be minim ized . If the buffeting occurs with
the rear wind ows open, then open the front and rear
wind ows together to minim ize the buffeting. If the
buffeting occurs with the sunroof open, then adjust the
sunroof opening to minim ize the buffeting or open any
wind ow.
NOTE: Pinch protection is disabled while the switch is
pressed .
Venting Sunroof - Express
Press and release the ЉVЉ button, and the sunroof will
open to the vent position. This is called Express Vent, and
will occur regard less of sunroof position. During Express
Vent operation, any movem ent of the switch will stop the
sunroof.
Sunroof Maintenance
Use only a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth to clean
the glass panel.
Sunshade Operation
The sunshad e can be opened manu ally. However, the
sunshad e will open autom atically as the sunroof opens.
NOTE: The sunshad e cannot be closed if the sunroof is
open.
