HighIntensityDischargeHeadlights(HID)—If
Equipped
The head lights  are a  typ e of high voltage  discharge   tube.
High  voltage   can  rem ain  in  the   circuit  even   with  the
head light  switch  off  and  the  key  rem oved . Because of
this,youshouldnotattempttoserviceaheadlightbulb
yourself.Ifaheadlightbulbfails,takeyourvehicleto
anauthorizeddealerforservice.
WARNING!
CAUTION!
Atransienthightensionoccursatthebulbsocketsof
HighIntensityDischarge(HID)headlightswhenthe
headlightswitchisturnedON.Itmaycauseserious
electricalshockorelectrocutionifnotservicedprop-
erly.Seeyourauthorizeddealerforservice.
Do not touch the new bulb with your fingers. Oil
contaminationwillseverelyshortenbulblife.Ifthe
bulbcomesincontactwithanoilysurface,cleanthe
bulbwithrubbingalcohol.
