After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
the nam e of the person you want to call. For exam ple,
you can say ЉJohn Doe,Љ where John Doe is a previ-
ously stored nam e entry in the UConnect ™ phone-
book. Refer to ЉAdd Names to Your UConnect ™
Phonebook, Љ to learn how to store a nam e in the
phonebook.
• WhenЉHome,pЉromЉWork,ptedЉ,ЉMobile,enter theЉ ornuЉPagermberЉd).esignationThis will allow(e.g.:
you to store multiple nu mbers for each phonebook
entry, if desired .

When prom pted , recite the phone nu mber for the 3
phonebook entry that you are adding.
After you are finished adding an entry into the phone-
book, you will be given the opportu nity to add more
phone nu mbers to the current entry or to retu rn to the
main menu .
The UConnect ™ system will confirm the nam e and
then dial the corresp ond ing phone nu mber, which
may appear in the display of certain rad ios.
AddNamestoYourUConnect™Phonebook
The UConnect ™ system will allow you to enter up to 32
nam es in the phonebook with each nam e having up to
four associated phone nu mbers and designations. Each
langu age has a separate 32 nam e phonebook accessible
only in that langu age.
NOTE: Adding nam es to phonebook is recom mend ed
when vehicle is not in motion.
