Trip Functions
Press and release the MENU button until one of the
follow ing Trip Functions displays in the EVIC:
Check Gascap (refer to “Adding Fuel” in Section 5 of
this manu al for more details)
The Trip Functions mode displays the follow ing inform a-
tion:
Service Park Assist System (with a single chim e)
• AverageFuelEconomy
Show s the average fuel econom y since the last reset.
When the fuel econom y is reset, the display will read
“
RESET” or show dashes for two second s. Then, the
history inform ation will be erased , and the averaging will 4
continu e from the last fuel average read ing before the
reset.

Distance To Empty
Trip A

DistanceToEmpty(DTE)
Show s the estim ated distance that can be travelled with
the fuel rem aining in the tank. This estim ated distance is
determ ined by a weighted average of the instantaneou s
and average fuel econom y, accord ing to the current fuel
tank level. DTE cannot be reset throu gh the FUNCTION
SELECT button.

Elapsed Time
Disp lay Units of Measu re in
Press the SCROLL button to cycle throu gh all the Trip
Com puter functions.
NOTE: Significant changes in driving style or vehicle
load ing will greatly affect the actu al drivable distance of
the vehicle, regard less of the DTE displayed valu e.
