TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR SYSTEM — IF

The Tire Pressu re Monitoring System consists of the
follow ing components:
Tire Pressure Monitoring — Base System
The Tire Pressu re Monitor System (TPMS) uses wireless
technology with wheel rim mounted electronic sensors to
monitor tire pressu re levels (EXCLUDIN G THE SPARE
TIRE). Sensors, mounted to each wheel as part of the
valve stem , transm it tire pressu re read ings to the Re-
ceiver Mod ule.

NOTE: For vehicles with optional wheel/ tire sizes and
significantly different tire placard pressu res, the placard
pressu re valu e and the low-pressu re threshold valu e is
re-p rogram mable at you r authorized dealer to accom mo-
date the custom er selected wheel/ tire combinations rec-
ommend ed by Daim lerChrysler.
NOTE: It is particu larly important, for you to check the
tire pressu re in all of you r tires regu larly and to maintain
the prop er pressu re.
The Tire Pressu re Monitoring Telltale Light will
illuminate in the instru ment cluster, and an au-
dible chim e will be activated when one or more
tire pressu res is low. The Tire Pressu re Monitoring Tell-
tale Light will flash on and off for 10 to 60 second s when
a system fault is detected . The flash cycle will rep eat
every ten minu tes or until the fault cond ition is rem oved
and reset.
