The bar code allow s a computer scanner to read the
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
The load carrying capacity of you r vehicle is show n in the
charts that follow. This inform ation shou ld be used for
passenger and luggage load ing as ind icated .
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
The GVWR is the total allow able weight of you r vehicle.
This inclu des driver, passengers, and cargo. The total
load must be limited so that you do not exceed the
GVWR.
If the seatbacks are folded for carrying cargo, do not
exceed the specified GVWR and GAWR.
Vehicle Certification Label
Your vehicle has a certification label attached to the rear
of the driver ’s door.
Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR)
The GAWR is the maxim um capacity of the front and rear
axles. Distribu te the load over the front and rear axles
evenly. Make sure that you do not exceed either front or
rear GAWR.
