The  best  time  to  check  the  engine   oil  level  is  abou t 5
minu tes after  a fully  warm ed engine  is shu t off or  before
starting  the  engine  after  it has  sat  overnight.
Checking  the oil  while the  vehicle is  on level grou nd  will
improve  the  accuracy  of  the oil  level read ings.  Maintain
the oil  level in the  SAFErange.  Adding  one  quart  (.9L)
of oil  when  the  read ing  is at  the  bottom  of the  SAFE
range  will  resu lt in an  oil level  at the  top  of the  SAFE
range  on  these engines.
