REMOTE SOUND SYSTEM CONTROLS
The rem ote sou nd system controls are located on the
surface of the steering wheel at the 3 and 9 o’clock
positions.
The VOLUME button controls the sou nd level
of the sou nd system . Press the top of the
VOLUME button to increase the sou nd level.
Press the bottom of the VOLUME button to
decrease the sou nd level.

Press the AUDIO MODE button to select the
Com pass/ Temp/ Audio screen. This screen
displays rad io station frequ encies, any one of
twelve rad io station preset frequ encies, CD
disc nu mber, CD track nu mber, tap e, or any
AUDIO
MODE
Button one of 200 Satellite rad io channels depend ing
on which rad io is in the vehicle.
If Com pass/ Temp/ Audio is alread y displayed when the
AUDIO MODE button is pressed , then the rad io mode
will change from AM to FM, to Tape, to CD, or to Satellite
(SAT) accord ingly.

Vehicles equ ipped with steering wheel mounted buttons
are also equ ipped with the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC). The EVIC featu res a driver-interactive
display. This is located in the upper part of the instru -
ment cluster betw een the speed ometer and tachom eter.
