Ind icates vehicle speed .

This light will illuminate when the electronic
speed control is ON.
When the appropriate conditions exist, this display show s
the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC) messages.
(See page 150 for more inform ation.) (only on vehicles
equipped with steering wheel mounted switches).

LowFuelIndicatorLight
When the fuel level drop s to 1/ 8 tank, the fuel
sym bol will light and a single chim e will sou nd .
NOTE: On non-EVIC equ ipped vehicles the odometer
is located here.

Tachometer
FrontFogLightIndicator—IfEquipped
This light show s the front fog lights are ON.
(See page 105 for more inform ation.)
The red segm ents ind icate the maxim um perm issible
engine revolu tions-p er-m inu te (r.p.m. x 1000) for each
gear range. Before reaching the red area, ease up on the
accelerator.
TurnSignalIndicators
The arrow will flash with the exterior turn signal
when the turn signal lever is operated .

EngineTemperatureWarningLight
This light illuminates, and will be accom panied
by a single chim e to warn of an overheated
engine cond ition. The engine tem peratu re is
If the vehicle electronics sense that the vehicle has
traveled abou t one mile with the turn signals on, a chim e
will sou nd to alert you to turn the signals off. If either
ind icator flashes at a rap id rate, check for a defective
outsid e light bulb. (See page 105 for more inform ation.)
