LOAD LEVELING SYSTEM — IF EQUIPPED
The autom atic load leveling system will provid e a level
rid ing vehicle und er most passenger and cargo load ing
cond itions.
Place as much cargo as possible in front of the rear

over or behind the rear axle can cause the rear of the
vehicle to sway.
A hyd rau lic pump contained within the shock absorbers
raises the rear of the vehicle to the correct height. It takes
approxim ately 1 mile (1.6 km) of driving for the leveling
to complete depend ing on road surface cond itions.
•
Do not pile luggage or cargo higher than the top of the
seatback. This could impair visibility or becom e a
dangerou s projectile in a sudden stop or collision.
If the leveled vehicle is not moved for approxim ately 15
hou rs, the leveling system will bleed itself down. The
vehicle must be driven to reset the system .
