It is essential when replacing the cables on the
battery that the positive cable is attached to the
positivepostandthenegativecableisattachedto
thenegativepost.Batterypostsaremarkedposi-
tive (+) and negative (-) and identified on the
batterycase.Cableclampsshouldbetightonthe
terminalpostsandfreeofcorrosion.

Battery gas is flammable and explosive. Keep
flameorsparksawayfromthebattery.Don’ tuse
aboosterbatteryoranyotherboostersourcewith
anoutputgreaterthan12volts.Don’tallowcable
clampstotoucheachother.
If a “fast charger” is used while battery is in
vehicle, disconnect both vehicle battery cables
before connecting the charger to battery. Do not
usea“fastcharger”toprovidestartingvoltage.

Battery posts, terminals and related accessories

Air Conditioner Maintenance
For best possible perform ance, you r air cond itioner
shou ld be checked and serviced by an Authorized Dealer
at the start of each warm season. This service shou ld
inclu de cleaning of the cond enser fins and a perform ance
test. Drive belt tension shou ld also be checked at this
time.
