NOTE: The system can also be program med to unlock
all doors on the first press of the UNLOCK button. On
electronic vehicle inform ation center (EVIC) equ ipped
vehicles, refer to “Remote Unlock Driver ’s Door 1st”
und er “Personal Settings ” in the Electronic Vehicle Infor-
mation Center (EVIC) section of this manu al. On non-
EVIC equ ipped vehicles, perform the follow ing step s:

To unlock the doors:
1. Press and hold the LOCK button on a program med
key fob.
Press and release the UNLOCK button on the transm itter
once to unlock the driver ’s door, or twice to unlock all
doors. The turn signal lights will flash twice to acknow l-
edge the unlock signal. The illuminated entry system also
turns on.

UNLOCK button while still hold ing the LOCK button.

The head lights will also activate and rem ain on for 90
second s when the doors are unlocked with the rem ote
keyless entry transm itter. The time for this featu re is
program mable on vehicles equ ipped with the Electronic
