Operating Instructions - Radio Mode
SEEKButton(RadioMode)
Press and release the SEEK button to search for the next
listenable station in either AM/ FM or Satellite (if
equ ipped) mode. Press the right side of the button to seek
up and the left side to seek down. The rad io will rem ain
tuned to the new station until you make another selec-
tion. Holding the button will byp ass stations withou t
stop ping until you release it.
NOTE: The ignition switch must be in the ON or ACC
position to operate the rad io.
PowerSwitch/VolumeControl(Rotary)
Press the ON/ VOL control to turn the rad io ON. Press
the ON/ VOL a second time to turn OFF the rad io.

ElectronicVolumeControl
The electronic volu me control turns continu ously (360
degrees) in either direction withou t stop ping. Turning the
volu me control to the right increases the volu me and to
the left decreases it.
MUTEButton(RadioMode)
Press the MUTE button to cancel the sou nd from the
speakers. ЉMUTEЉ will be displayed . Press the MUTE
button a second time and the sou nd from the speakers
will retu rn. Rotating the volu me control, turning the
rad io ON/ OFF, or turning ON/ OFF the ignition, will
cancel the MUTE featu re.
When the audio system is turned on, the sou nd will be
set at the sam e volu me level as last played .
For you r convenience, the volu me can be turned down,
but not up, when the audio system is off and the ignition
is ON.
NOTE: In Hand s Free Phone (if equ ipped) mode, the
MUTE button mutes the microp hone.
SCANButton(RadioMode)
Pressing the SCAN button causes the tuner to search for
the next listenable station, in either AM, FM or Satellite (if
ModeButton(RadioMode)
Press the mode button rep eated ly to select betw een the
CD player or Satellite Radio (if equ ipped).
