ing high quality unlead ed gasoline having
an octane of 87.
The suggested rotation method is the “forw ard -cross”

and 5.7L Engines
The 3.5L and 5.7L engines are designed to 5
meet all emissions regu lations and provid e
satisfactory
fuel econom y and perfor-
mance when using high-qu ality unlead ed
gasoline with an octane rating of 87 to 89.
The manu factu rer recom mend s the use of
for optimum perform ance. The rou tine use of
89-octane
prem ium gasoline is not recom mend ed. The use of
prem ium gasoline will provid e no benefit over high-
quality regu lar gasoline or mid-grad e gasoline and in
som e circumstances may resu lt in poorer perform ance.
