When you turn off the panic alarm by pressing the
PANIC button a second time, you may have to be
closer to the vehicle due to the rad io frequ ency noises
of the system .
4. Test the flash lights with LOCK featu re while outsid e
of the vehicle, by pressing the LOCK button on the key
fob with the ignition in the LOCK position, and the key
rem oved .

ToTurnOff“FlashLightsOnLock/Unlock”
NOTE: Pressing the LOCK button on the key fob, while
you are in the vehicle, will activate the Security Alarm .
Opening a door with the Security Alarm activated will
cause the alarm to sou nd . Press the UNLOCK button to
deactivate the Security Alarm .
NOTE: The Flash Lights On Lock/ Unlock featu re can
be turned on or off. On electronic vehicle inform ation
center (EVIC) equ ipped vehicles, refer to ЉPersonal Set-
tingsЉ in the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC)
section of this manu al. On non-EVIC equ ipped vehicles,
perform the follow ing step s:
