The pedalscannot   be adjusted  when  the  vehicle is in R
(Reverse)  or when  the Speed  Control  is ON. One of the
follow ing  message  will  display   in  the  Electronic  Ve-
hicle  Inform ation  Center   (EVIC)  — if  equ ipped  if  a
pedal   adjustm ent   is  attem pted  when   the   system  is
locked   out:   “Adjustable    Ped al  Disabled   —  Cru ise
Control  Engaged  ”  or “Adjustable    Ped al Disabled   —
Vehicle In  Reverse. ”
TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE HOOD
Two latches  must  be released  to open  the hood . First, pull
the  hood  release  lever  located  und er  the left  side  of the
instru ment  panel.

NOTE:   For vehicles equipped   with Driver  Memory  Seat,
you  can use  your  remote  keyless  entry transm itter  or  the
memory  switch   on the  driver’s   door  panel  to  return  the
adjustable   pedals  to  pre-program med   positions.  Refer  to
“
Driver  Memory  Seat” in this  section  for details.
CAUTION!
HoodReleaseLever
Donotplaceanyarticleundertheadjustablepedals
orimpedeitsabilitytomoveasitmaycausedamage
to the pedal controls. Pedal travel may  become
limitedifmovementisstoppedbyanobstructionin
theadjustablepedal’ spath.
