Secure the wind shield by passing the rem aining cinch
Raising The Windshield And Replacing Side Bars
To raise the wind shield , install the wind shield wipers,
and install the side bars use these sam e step s in reverse.
strap , found in the glove box, throu gh the footm an hoop
on the center of the hood and on the center of the
wind shield fram e. Tighten the strap to secure the wind -
shield in place.
WARN ING!
To help protect again st person al injury, alw ays in-
stall the sid e bars when raisin g the windshield on
you r veh icle. If you do not raise the windshield and
install the sid e bars, you lose the protection these
stru ctural elem ents provid e in som e accid ents.
