NOTE: If the doors are to be rem oved , pull the #4 fuse

from the fuse block to prevent dome lamp illumination.
Hard Top Installation

NOTE: If the door fram es are installed from soft top
usage, they must be rem oved prior to installation of the
hard top .

The soft top is not design ed to carry any addi-
tion al load s such as roof rack s, spare tires, build -
ing, huntin g, or camping supplies, and/or lug-
gage, etc. Also, it was not design ed as a stru ctural
member of the veh icle, and thus cannot prop erly
carry any addition al load s oth er than environ men-
tal (rain , snow, etc.).

Insp ect the hard top seals for damage and rep lace if
necessary.
2.
Install the hard top using the sam e step s for rem oval
in reverse ord er.
The soft top does not include any devices to
prop erly secu re any load s on the roof, and any
damage (stru ctural or surface fin ish ) that occurs
due to any addition al load ing to the top area will
void any veh icle warran ty.
NOTE: The hard top must be positioned prop erly to
ensu re sealing. Set the hard top on the wind shield fram e
so that there is no overhang. Also, make sure that the
hard top is sitting flush with the bod y at the sides and
check to ensu re that there is a uniform gap betw een the
lift glass and hard top .
