Use care when wash ing the insid e of the rear win-
dow to preven t damage to heatin g elem ents. Use a
soft cloth and a mild wash ing solu tion , wiping
parallel to the heatin g elem ents. Also, keep all
objects a safe distan ce from the window to preven t
damagin g the heatin g elem ents.

Rear Window Wiper/Washer
To utilize the rear wiper, press the switch to the
first detent. To activate the rear washer, depress the
switch to the second detent. The washer will
continu e to spray as long as the switch is held . The switch
will retu rn to the wiper mode when released . To turn the
rear wiper off, lift the bottom of the switch.
Adding Wash er Fluid
The fluid reservoir for the wind shield washers and the
rear wind ow washer is shared . It is located in the front of
the engine compartm ent on the passenger side and
shou ld be checked for fluid level at regu lar intervals. Fill
the reservoir with wind shield washer solvent (not rad ia-
tor antifreeze) and operate the system for a few second s
to flush out the resid ual water.
