STARTING AND OPERATING
The Axle Locker switch is located on the lower center of
the instru ment panel. This featu re will only activate
when the follow ing cond itions are met:
WARN ING!
On veh icles equipped with a lim ited -slip differen -
tial, never run the engin e with one rear wheel off the
grou nd. The veh icle may drive throu gh the rear
wheel rem ain ing on the grou nd and cause you to
lose control of you r veh icle.

Key in ignition, vehicle in 4L (Low) range.

To activate the system , press the switch once to lock the
rear axle only (the REAR LOCK ind icator light will
illuminate), press the switch again to lock the front axle
(the FRONT LOCK ind icator light will illuminate). Once
the rear axle is locked , pressing the switch again will lock
or unlock the front axle.
AXLE LOCK (TRU–LOK™) — IF EQUIPPED
NOTE: The ind icator lights will flash until the axles are
fully locked or unlocked . A chim e will sou nd three times
and the ind icator lights will continu e to flash at a
different rate if the key is rem oved while the axles are still
in the locked position.
To unlock the axles, pull up on the switch.
