First fold the rear seat forw ard follow ing step s 1
throu gh 3 und er “Fold and Tumble Rear Seat” in this
section.
Replacing the Rear Seat
Reverse step s for rem oving the seat. Be certain to pull the
seat belts betw een the seat cushion and seatback. Position
them for passenger use.

Press down on release bar on each side, and pull seat
out and away from lower bracket.
WARN ING!
Remove seat from the vehicle.

To help protect again st person al injury, passen -
gers should not be seated in the rear cargo area
with the rear seat fold ed down or rem oved from
the veh icle.
The rear cargo space is inten ded for load carryin g
purposes only, not for passen gers, who should sit
in seats and use seat belts.
