Operation Instructions — CD Player
EJT CD
Press the EJT CD button and the disc will unload and
move to the entrance for easy rem oval. The unit will
switch to the rad io mode.
NOTE: The ignition switch must be in the ON or ACC
position and the volu me control ON before the CD player
will operate.
If you do not rem ove the disc within 15 second s, it will be
reload ed. The unit will continu e in rad io mode.
Inserting The Compact Disc
You may either insert or eject a disc with the rad io OFF.
FF/TUNE/RW
If you insert a disc with the ignition ON and the rad io
OFF, the disc icon will be displayed in addition to the
time of day.
Press FF (Fast Forw ard ) and the CD player will begin to
fast forw ard until FF is released . The RW (Reverse)
button works in a similar manner.
If the volu me control is ON, the unit will switch from
rad io to CD mode and begin to play when you insert the
disc. The display will show the track nu mber and ind ex
time in minu tes and second s. Play will begin at the start
of track 1.
RND (Random Play)
Press the RND button while the CD is playing to activate
Rand om Play. This featu re plays the selections on the
compact disc in rand om ord er to provid e an interesting
change of pace.
Seek
Press the SEEK button to move to the next rand omly
selected track.
Press the top of the SEEK button for the next selection on
the CD. Press the bottom of the button to retu rn to the
beginning of the current selection, or retu rn to the
beginning of the previou s selection, if the CD is within
the first second of the current selection.
Press TUNE FF to fast forw ard throu gh the tracks.
Press the RND button a second time to stop Rand om
Play.
