⌬) button during tap e mode will cause theother side of the tap e to be played . The display will
confirm the selected tap e play direction. The time is
alw ays displayed .
Time
Press the TIME button to change the display betw een
rad io frequ ency and time.
Tape
Press the TAPE button to select the Tape mode.
To set the clock, use a ballp oint pen or similar object to
press the hou r (H) or minu te (M) buttons on the rad io,
The time setting will increase each time you press the
button. Press any other button to exit from the clock
setting mode.
Seek
Press the SEEK button up for the next selection on the
tap e and down to retu rn to the beginning of the current
selection.
Operating Instructions - Tape Mode
Insert the cassette with the exposed tap e side tow ard the
right and the mechanical action of the player will gently
pull the cassette into the play position.
Press the SEEK button up or down to move the track
nu mber to skip forw ard or backw ard 1 to 7 selections.
Press the SEEK button once to move 1 selection, twice to
move 2 selections, etc. the display will show the total
nu mber of times the SEEK button was pushed . The SEEK
function will be cancelled by pressing either the FF/ RW
or AM/ FM button.
NOTE: When subjected to extrem ely cold tem peratu res,
the tap e mechanism may requ ire a few minu tes to warm
up for prop er operation. Sometim es poor playback may
be experienced due to a defective cassette tap e. Clean and
demagnetize the tap e head s at least twice a year.
