UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
When the Add-A-Trunk™ is not desired , it can be easily
rem oved from the rear compartm ent. Remove the four
knobs that secure the “tru nk” to the bod y. Lift the
Add-A-Trunk™ out and place the knobs in the molded-in
storage area. Storage space is also provid ed for the wheel
lock, and lock key tool.
Removing The Soft Top
Locate and rem ove the 2 boxes that contain the

follow ing item s:
• right and left door fram es
•

•
door fram e attachm ent knobs (4)
right and left quarter wind ows
rear tailgate wind ow
Do not leave the Add-A-Trunk™ loose in you r vehicle.
Remove it and store it in a safe place.
DUAL TOP — IF EQUIPPED

Remove the hard top . Refer to “Hard Top Removal” in
If you r vehicle is equ ipped with a Dual Top, you must
rem ove one of the top s from the veh icle. The soft top
was installed at the factory for ship ping purposes only.
The soft top and the hard top are to be used indepen-
dently. Removal is mand atory to prevent any possible
wear and tear on the soft top , shou ld both top s rem ain on
the vehicle at the sam e time. Failu re to do so may void
you r soft top warranty.

Remove the soft top bow assem bly pivot bracket
screw s (2 per side) using a #30 Torx head driver.
