UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL

Temperatu re Con trol
The tem peratu re control is the center knob located on the
climate controls. It controls the tem peratu re of the air
delivered to the passenger compartm ent.
The “Blue” area on the left side of the control ind icates
cooler tem peratu res while the “Red ” area ind icates
warm er tem peratu res.
Mode Selection
The mode selector is the right knob located on the climate
controls. It can be set in any of the follow ing positions:
Off
This position turns off the blow er motor. In this
mode, there may be som e slight air flow from the
floor outlets, side wind ow outlets, and defrost outlet
located at the base of the wind shield .
In snow y weather, alw ays clear the air inlet grille at the
base of the wind shield before driving you r vehicle.
Blow er Switch
The blow er switch is the rotary knob to the left of the
controls. The blow er speed will increase as the knob
is turned clockw ise. There are four blow er speed s.
Panel
Air comes from the outlets in the instru ment
panel. Each of these outlets can be ind ivid ually
adjusted to direct the flow of air. Also, a slight amount
of airflow may be noticed at the defrost outlet located
at the base of the wind shield .
NOTE: The blow er motor will run until the system is
turned to the “Off” (“O”) position or the ignition is
turned OFF.
