UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
CONVERTIBLE TOP MANUAL OVERRIDE
If  you r  vehicle   is  experiencing    electrical   failu re (low
battery,  etc.)  and  it is  necessary   to raise  the  convertible
top , perform  the  follow ing step s:
1.
Locate  the convertible   top motor  byp ass  screw, which
is found   in the  tru nk  und er the  convertible   top  storage
area.
2.
Turn  the screw  counterclockw ise  until the  screw stop s.
This  will  relieve  the   hyd rau lic pressu re  and  allow   the
convertible   top to  be raised  manu  ally.
Bleed er Screw
3.
Using  the latch  hand le raise  the top  until  the two  pins
seat  them selves in  the  wind shield  head er.
4.
Rotate  the latch  hand le clockw ise  to open  the  latches.
5.
Pull  down  and  rotate  the  hand le counterclockw  ise  to
engage  the  latches.
