THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

on and off and the interior lights will turn on.
The panic alarm will stay on for three minu tes unless you
turn it off by pressing the PANIC button a second time or
if the vehicle speed is 5 mph (8 km/ h) or greater.

Press the LOCK button for four to ten second s.
While the LOCK button is pressed (after four second s),
press the PANIC button. Release both buttons.
NOTE: When you turn off the panic alarm by pressing
the PANIC button a second time, you may have to be
closer to the vehicle due to the rad io frequ ency noises of
the system .
The “Sound Horn On Lock” and “Flash Lamps With
Lock” featu re can be reactivated by rep eating this proce-
dure.
TO TURN OFF “FLASH LIGHTS WITH LOCK”:
PANIC ALARM
The panic mode flashes the park lights, and sou nd s the
horn for abou t three minu tes or until the alarm is turned
off.
NOTE: The Flash Lights With Lock featu re can be
turned on or off. On Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC) equ ipped vehicles refer to ЉPersonal Set-
tingsЉ in the EVIC section of this manu al. On non EVIC -
equ ipped vehicles perform the follow ing step s:

hold the PANIC button on the transm itter for at least one
