UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
The air cond itioning system of you r vehicle contains
R-134a, a refrigerant that does not deplete the ozone layer
in the upper atm osp here.
Mode Con trol (Air Direction )
The mode control allow s you to
choose from several patterns of air
distribu tion. You can select either
a prim ary mode, as identified by
the sym bols, or a blend of two of
these modes. The closer the con-
trol is to a particu lar mode, the
more air distribu tion you receive
from that mode
The controls are as follow s:
Fan Con trol
Use this control to regu late the
amount of air forced throu gh the
system in any mode you select.
The fan speed increases as you
move the control to the right from
the OFF position.
Panel
Air is directed throu gh the outlets in the instru ment
panel. These outlets can be adjusted to direct air
flow.
Bi-Level
Air is directed throu gh the panel and floor outlets.
