UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
NOTE:    Prior to  rotating  the  seat  cushions  rearw ard , be
sure  that  the  rear  seat belt  buckles  are  secured  with  the
strap s, so  that the  buckles  are  accessible.
NOTE:    Prior  to  lifting   either  seatback   to  the  upright
position,  be  sure  that the  seat  belt is  brou ght forw ard  to
avoid  trap ping  it behind   the seatback.

Then  lift the  seatback  to its  upright   latched  position.
Rotate  the   seat  cushion   rearw ard   to  latch  the  seat.
CAUTIO N!
Ensure  that  the  seat back  is  latch ed with  a hard  push
to engage   the  latch , notin g the  presen ce  of seat  back
rubber-overslam    bumpers   that  need   to be  overcom e.
Check  that   the  seat  back   release  knobs   are  pushed
fully  forw ard  in  ord er to allow   the  latch  to engage.
WARN ING!
In an  accid ent, you  or oth ers in  you r veh icle could  be
injured    if  seats   are   not  prop erly   latch ed   to  their
attach ments.    Alw ays  be   sure   the   seats    are  fully
latch ed.
