NOTE:    Check   the  autom atic  transm  ission  fluid   level
Towing  Tips  — Coolin g  System
before  tow ing.
To  red uce potential    for  engine  and   transm ission  over-
heating,  take  the  follow ing actions:
Towing  Tips  — Electron ic  Speed  Con trol  (If
Equipped)
•  Cit y Driving
When  stop ped for short  period s of time, put  transm ission
in NEUTRAL  but  do  not increase  engine   idle speed .

Don’t  use in  hilly terrain   or with  heavy  load s.
When  using the  speed  control, if you  experience  speed
drop s greater  than  10 mph  (16 km/ h),  disengage  until
you  can get  back  to cruising  speed .

Highw ay  Driving
Reduce  speed .

Air Condit  ioning
Turn  off tem porarily.
•
Use speed  control  in flat terrain  and  with light  load s to
maxim ize fuel  efficiency.

Refer to  Cooling  System  Operating  inform ation  in the
Maintenance   Section of this  manu al for more  inform a-
tion.
